The London Lens Company didn’t begin with a shop — it began with a realisation.
After more than 10 years working across multiple optician practices, Ali saw a pattern emerge:
patients were often navigating a system that felt more complicated than it needed to be.
Whether it was contact lens supply, aftercare, appointment clarity, or simply understanding their options, people frequently encountered:

fragmented care
unnecessary barriers to getting what they needed
This sparked a vision:

When the opportunity arose to take over the former Punch Opticians in Earlsfield, it felt like the perfect foundation for what we wanted to create:

What followed was a complete reinvention — from a full refit to new technology, new systems, and a brand philosophy built around independence, clarity, and patient-first care.

Aisha brings a rare and invaluable perspective to the practice.
She is a fully qualified clinical pharmacist with experience in community pharmacy, hospital settings, and GP surgeries — giving her a broad understanding of patient care, medication safety, and clinical communication.
Organised, warm, and endlessly caring, she is the driving force behind the smooth, welcoming experience patients feel as soon as they walk in.
