How It Works

Your eye’s tear film consists of three layers — lipid, aqueous, and mucin — each vital for maintaining stability and comfort.
When the lipid (oil) layer is compromised, tears evaporate faster, leading to dryness, inflammation, and irritation.
Hycosan® Shield contains 100% Perfluorohexyloctane, a unique molecule that spreads evenly across the eye’s surface to restore the lipid layer. This forms a protective “shield” that locks in natural moisture, reduces evaporation, and provides lasting comfort.

How To Use

1. Push, turn and release the cap.

2. For first use, remove the tamper-evident ring.

3. Hold the bottle upright and squeeze lightly.

4. While keeping the bottle squeezed, invert it upside down and release the pressure to draw air in.

5. Gently pull down the lower eyelid and apply one drop per eye.

6. Replace the cap securely after use.
   Use up to 6 months after opening. Not suitable for contact lens wearers.
